Sarah Schaaf
Sarah is an entrepreneur, executive, advisor, angel investor and reformed attorney. Sarah left the legal department at Google in 2014 to found Headnote, a payment network made specifically for lawyers and the legal industry. Headnote was acquired by the private equity firm Alpine in 2019 and rebranded to be part of a suite of legal tech products called Paradigm. Sarah served as the GM and then VP of the Payments Division at Paradigm through its second acquisition in 2021 by the private equity firm Francisco Partners. Sarah left Paradigm in 2022 and is taking some time off while exploring her next venture and advising startups. Above all else professionally, Sarah loves her identity as a founder and feels fortunate to be part of such a vibrant community of dreamers and doers in the Bay Area. Sarah lives in Marin County, CA with her husband, kids and rescue pup.
