Jordan Kivelstadt

Venture Partner

Marin Sonoma Impact Ventures

Jordan joined MSIV in January 2024 as its first Venture Partner to support deal selection, portfolio companies, and community building. He previously was a founding Limited Partner in MSIV Fund I.

Jordan is both a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor. He was born into an entrepreneurial family and has been building his own companies since college. He pioneered the wine-on-tap movement by co-founding Free Flow Wines, which changed the way Americans drink wine by the glass. He grew the company from his garage to 100 employees before selling the company in 2016. He later started his own hospitality business - Trellis Management - and today leads hospitality efforts and serves as an active mentor, advisor, and board member to startup companies across sectors.

He graduated from Tufts with an engineering degree, winning the Tufts $100K business plan competition in his senior year. He has continued his involvement with entrepreneurship at his alma mater to this day, serving as a longtime board member of the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts.

Jordan resides in Sonoma with his two children and wife. He is very involved in the local community and serves on the boards of the Sonoma County Economic Development Board, Sonoma Economic Collaborative, Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers, and the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance.
