Joey Zwillinger
Co-Founder & Former CEO, Allbirds
Joey Zwillinger, a purpose-driven entrepreneur, co-founded Allbirds, and served as its CEO until 2024 after leading its IPO in 2021. He is currently the CEO and co-founder of Biologica, a pre-launch company focused on addressing underserved areas of women's health, and also invests in early-stage companies as Founding General Partner at Good Friends, a +$100m venture capital firm.
Earlier in his career, Joey was a Vice President at biotech firm Terravia (formerly Solazyme), leading its renewable chemical business, and previously, he worked in advisory and investment roles at Industry Ventures, Deloitte Consulting, and Goldman Sachs. He is a founding nonprofit board member of Colorwave, and is on the advisory board of Wharton's Baker Retail Center.
Joey earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Wharton. He lives in Marin with his incredible wife and three kids.
