Chris Golec launched Channel99 in 2022 to change the way companies measure and invest in B2B marketing and digital programs. The company will soon be introducing an AI-powered attribution engine that will revolutionize B2B as we know it today.
Prior to Channel99, Chris has been active advising CEO's and marketing executives, investing in start-up's, and supporting various philanthropic organizations. Previously, he founded Demandbase to transform B2B advertising, marketing and sales through innovations in digital technology and pioneered the ABM technology category. Today, the world's largest and fastest growing enterprises across the financial services, hi tech, manufacturing, healthcare and telecom industries have adopted Demandbase's B2B marketing platform and Account Based Marketing (ABM) technology to dramatically improve the way they acquire and grow customers.
At Demandbase, Chris raised $150 million, hired a team of 300 people across the U.S. and Europe, and grew annual revenue beyond $100 million while achieving profitability.
Prior to starting Demandbase, Chris founded Supplybase to help global manufacturers collaborate with their supply chain to bring new products to market. As one of the first successful B2B software and data solutions in the late 90’s, Supplybase was acquired in March, 2000 by i2 Technologies (Nasdaq: ITWO) for $380 million. Before becoming a software entrepreneur, Chris held multiple sales, marketing and engineering positions with GE, DuPont, and GM.
